Interior of the MSR FreeLite 1 tent.
Despite a rectangular footprint (without the usual tapered sides) and a gable height of 1 meter, the FreeLite 1 for one person weighs 170 grams less than its predecessor. A waterproof trough floor protects against wet and cold. The micromesh tent fly allows excellent ventilation. The curve-free tent door has new zippers that are more durable and can be operated with one hand. In addition, the zippers always close in the same place so the sliders can be found in the dark. New pockets for all types of equipment with cable guides at the corners for headphones and charging cables. Equipment storage above head height is ideal for headlamps, sunglasses and more.
Exterior of the MSR FreeLite 1 tent.
Semi-freestanding design makes the FreeLite 1 tent quick and easy to set up. Extra-sturdy DAC-NFL tent poles, DuraShieldâ„¢ waterproof coating and sealed seams keep moisture from entering the tent. The openwork flysheet saves weight and has a large vestibule with plenty of gear storage. The convenient wide vestibule door has a StayDryâ„¢ rain gutter that channels water away from the tent.
