Despite a gable height of 1.09 m (10.2 cm than before) and rectangular footprint (without conical sides as usual), the FreeLite 3 for three people weighs 255 g less than the previous model. The micromesh tent fly allows excellent ventilation, and a waterproof bathtub floor protects against wet and cold. Two curve-free tent doors allow entry and exit without disturbing your partner’s sleep. The doors have new zippers that are more durable and can be operated with one hand. In addition, the zippers always close in the same place so the sliders can be found in the dark. New pockets for all types of equipment with cable guides at the corners for headphones and charging cables. Equipment storage above head height is ideal for headlamps, sunglasses and more.

Semi-freestanding design of the FreeLite 3 tent makes for easy and quick setup. Extra-sturdy DAC-NFL tent poles, DuraShield™ waterproof coating, and sealed seams prevent moisture from entering the tent. The openwork flysheet saves weight and has large vestibules with plenty of gear storage. The convenient wide vestibule doors have a StayDry™ rain gutter that channels water away from the tent.
